What suits you?

Counselling

Counselling tends to be time-limited and can be suitable for people who want to deal with something specific. Being able to talk about experiences and share the burden with someone who is not a family member or a friend can provide a space to explore your situation and the choices you have for moving forward.

Counselling can sometimes be more structured and goal-orientated helping you gain new skills and coping strategies. I offer short-term work for 6, 12 or 20 sessions.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy tends to be more open ended and can take place over a longer period of time. This extra space allows us to consider your situation more broadly and in more depth. It is particularly suitable for those who experience recurring issues, or where issues have a longer history. In Psychotherapy the work can feel more exploratory and more fluid.
